Day 304 – Preston, Johnny and Grandma on the Train

Here is a picture of the three of us riding on a little train at a nearby park called Vasano Park in Los Gatos.  It’s a really cute little county park….it has a lake with peddle boats…a train and merry-go-round.  They are  starting to put up Christmas decorations in the form of lighted signs and lighted Christmas themes.  Tonight Preston goes trick-or-treating as Buzz Lightyear.

Day 302- Q is for Quizzical

I love the expression on Preston’s face…he’s not too sure about this Santa guy!!!  This picture was taken on a “Holiday” train last year near Fremont, California.

Day 301 – P is for Pumpkin

This photo is from 2009 when we went to Lemo’s Farm just before Halloween.

Day 300 – O is for Outdoors

This picture was taken a few months ago when Amy, Johnny, Preston and I went to see Thomas the Train in California, near where the kids live in the Bay area.  I had taken so many photos this day and I had only saved this photo and another photo to my computer.  I forgot that I hadn’t saved all the other photos and formated my memory card for my camera for our trip to Washington D.C. and LOST all the other photos!  ARG!  Anyway…we were riding on the train through the hills when I took this photo of Preston…he looks all casual to me!  I LOVE it!

I just put this little video together that I took this last weekend when I visited the kids.  It will crack you up!!

Day 297 – Preston at Lemo’s Farm

I took this picture of Preston yesterday at Lemo’s Farm near Half Moon Bay.  The weather was cool….and overcast, but the rain waited until we were finished picking out our pumpkins.

Day 296 – Pumpkin Hunting at Lemo’s Farm

We had a fun morning at Lemo’s Farm in Half Moon Bay.  Riding the train and hunting for pumpkins!  Here is Johnny, Amy and Preston in a little covered wagon at Lemo’s Farm.

Day 295 – L is for Loving

This has to be the cutest picture of Preston!  I just LOVE this photo.  He is the sweetest thing ever!  I’m going this afternoon to see him…can’t wait to give him a great big kiss and hug!

Day 292 – Lesson 2

I’m feeling about the same today….at least with the cough medicine, I am not coughing as much as I was.  In my Step-By-Step with Illustrator class…we worked with color combinations.  Here is what we did for Lesson 2.  We filled in preformed squares and circles with a set of 5 colors.  The blue/brown is from a picture I uploaded to Kuler at Adobe.com.  It was a picture of the Old Faithful of California…so it had colors of the water, and sky and ground.  The 2nd one is a stock set of color swatches from the Seasons set of colors.  And the last you might recognize from my Coleus kit….I also uploaded a picture of some Coleus plants taken in my back yard to Kuler and it picked out those fabulous pink’s and greens.  I used those 5 colors to make the two buttons and the horizontal journaling block.

Day 291 – I’m Sick

I coughed all night…..so when I woke up this morning, I called the doctor and they had an opening 1/2 hr later.  Got myself up and dressed and hurried down to the doctor’s office.  Turns out I have bronchitis!  The doctor wants me to take a few days and just rest.  So I am off from work today and at least tomorrow.  She said see how I feel on Wednesday on whether I feel good enough to go back to work.  Will try to post a picture later.

Day 290 – Autumn
