Day 120 – Alice in Wonderland

April 30, 2010

Tony and I both had the day off today… we went to see Alice in Wonderland….and then went to lunch at Logan’s Roadhouse.  After that we went to look at recliners at a couple furnitures stores.  We want to redo Tony’s Nebraska room….take out his rocker/recliner which is in need a recovering…..and take out the love seat and replace both with 2 rocker/recliners so we can both be comfortable in his room.  We found a really nice chair at Fashion Furniture that we both liked….problem is it was almost $900.00…..for one!  Guess it’s going to have to wait a while….no money for that right now!  It was fun “window” shopping anyway!!

Day 114 – Udon Soup

April 24, 2010

I worked an hour-and-a-half of overtime last night, which meant I didn’t get home and in bed until around 2:30 a.m.  Then I volunteered to work this weekend…so I had to be at work at 8 a.m.  Of course I didn’t get to sleep right away….it always takes me a couple hours to decompress after work….so I didn’t get very much sleep this morning.  On my way home from work, I saw Tony pulling out of his work, in line right behind me to go home for dinner.  He pulled into the driveway right behind me and said “Let’s go get Japanese”.  I got Udon Soup….and he got a Teriyaki Bowl.  It was so good.  Now I’m going to take a nap for a couple hours…I’m so sleepy!
