My daughter has a friend that she went to high school with in Hong Kong. She recently got in touch with me and sent a picture of herself and my daughter. I’ve been playing today with that picture. I would like to put words around this….but not sure exactly what to say. So this is a work in progress. I cleaned up the original photo….removed the background image and put the girls on what looks like a postage stamp. My daughter is the one on the left.
Every year I battle the presence of crabgrass in my lawn. I was out walking the yard today putting down granules of crabgrass preventative when I walked around the side of the house that I rarely walk in and saw that one of my bushes was in full bloom. What a welcome surprise and nice display that spring is almost here!! We’ve had great daytime weather and it was just so nice to see these pretty flowers after the 2 weeks of rain off and on every day we had recently.
Today I made lunch for ‘mom’ and ‘dad’….we had spaghetti, meatballs, brocoli, salad and the best tiramasu ever! We learned a new game called Mexican Dominoes. Mom and dad taught us how to play. It was a fun afternoon…..something we don’t do very often…it was a nice change to entertain and play games. I was the big winner….guess I had beginners luck!
My daughter is forever behind the camera….it was nice to see her in front of the camera! I did this 2 pg LO for my Design Your Life class. This weeks lesson was REPETITION. The white on the left side of the page I carried over to the right side of the page…creating a visual triangle; another thing we learned this week. The flower embellishments are also repeated and create a visual triangle.
